The Trango group, including Great Trango and the Nameless Tower, is a big-wall climber's ultimate arena, with vertical granite rising thousands of metres above the Baltoro Glacier.
This is a specialist expedition for elite rock and big-wall teams. We handle permits, the Baltoro approach and base camp so climbers can focus on the walls.
Week 1
Islamabad to Skardu and the Baltoro trek to Trango base camp.
Weeks 2 to 5
Fixing, hauling and working the chosen big-wall route.
Week 5 to 6
Summit push and descent as conditions allow.
Week 6+
Trek out and return to Islamabad.
Hotels on the road and a supported Baltoro base camp.
Trek and base camp meals with an expedition cook.
For elite rock and big-wall climbers only. Extensive hard aid and free climbing experience is required. We assess every team.
Climbing permit, liaison officer and fees arranged; Pakistan visa with LOI required.
Base camp support, forecasting and rescue coordination. All climbing decisions rest with the team and conditions.
