About PMC
A local team, sharing the mountains we grew up with
Pakistan Mountaineering Club was founded to show international travellers the real Pakistan: wild, beautiful and welcoming, on trips run by people who know these mountains intimately.
Pakistan Mountaineering Club (PMC) is an adventure and tourism company founded by Attaullah Shah. We organise trekking, camping, hiking and mountaineering expeditions, along with cultural and historical tours that explore the landscapes, traditions and heritage of Pakistan.
From the glaciers of the Karakoram to the orchards of Hunza, every journey is built to inspire discovery and connection. We put a strong focus on safe travel, teamwork and responsible tourism, and we treat our porters and crew as the backbone of every trip.
Most of the travellers we host come from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and Europe. They want clear trip information, real safety guidance, honest pricing and an easy way to ask questions before they commit. That is exactly what we built PMC to provide.
What we do
We run guided Pakistan trekking tours, full-service mountaineering expeditions and comfortable cultural trips across Gilgit-Baltistan. Whether you dream of standing beneath K2 or simply exploring the Hunza Valley, we handle the permits, logistics and safety so you can focus on the experience.
Why travellers trust us
We are a genuinely local operator. Our guides live in these valleys, speak English with international guests, and make honest go or no-go decisions in the mountains. Read why to choose PMC, meet our guides and team, or see what past trekkers say.
