The K2 Base Camp trek walks the length of the Baltoro Glacier to Concordia and the foot of K2 (8,611 m). It is the classic Karakoram adventure and the trip most foreign trekkers ask us about first.
This is the advanced version of the K2 trek. Instead of retracing the Baltoro, you cross the Gondogoro La (5,585 m) for a sunrise panorama of K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums, then descend into the Hushe valley.
The Hunza Valley is the friendliest introduction to northern Pakistan: ancient forts, turquoise Attabad Lake, the Passu Cones and the Karakoram Highway to the China border, all at a gentle, scenic pace.
This tour pairs the orchards and forts of Hunza with the alpine meadows below Nanga Parbat (8,126 m). It is the most popular way to see the highlights of northern Pakistan in a single journey.

The Biafo to Hispar traverse links Askole with Hunza across Snow Lake and the Hispar La (5,128 m), a remote, committing journey over 100 kilometres of connected glacier.
Spantik, or Golden Peak (7,027 m), rises above the Chogo Lungma Glacier. This trek reaches its base camp through the quiet Nagar valley and pairs well with a Hunza visit.
The Rakaposhi base camp trek climbs from Minapin to the meadow of Hapakun and the base camp beneath Rakaposhi (7,788 m) and Diran, one of the best short treks in northern Pakistan.
The Haramosh valley trek leads to Kutwal Lake and the meadows beneath Haramosh Peak (7,409 m), a low-competition, low-traffic route for trekkers who want solitude.
Katora Lake sits in a rock amphitheatre above the forested Kumrat valley. This short trek is a long-tail favourite for travellers exploring beyond the Karakoram.
Fairy Meadows, Hunza-based walks and the Rakaposhi base camp trek suit fit beginners. They are short, scenic and reach gentle altitudes with full support.
For the high Karakoram routes, yes. Permits, glacier travel and remote logistics make a licensed local operator essential, and it is required for restricted areas.
