Booking Terms

These terms explain how booking a trip with Pakistan Mountaineering Club works, from enquiry to departure.

Last updated 1 July 2026

How to book

All trips begin with an enquiry over WhatsApp or email. We reply with an itinerary and a clear quote in USD. Once you confirm, we agree a simple deposit and balance schedule to secure your dates and start arranging permits and logistics.

Deposits and payments

A deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due before departure. Exact amounts and timings are set out in your booking confirmation. Payment methods are agreed directly with you at the time of booking.

What is included

Each trip page lists its own inclusions and exclusions. In general, guiding, porters, cooks, camping, permits, in-country transport and meals on trek are included, while international flights, visa fees, personal gear and insurance are not.

Cancellations and changes

If you need to cancel or change your trip, contact us as early as possible. Because permits, staff and logistics are arranged in advance, cancellation terms depend on how close to departure the change is made. We will always try to be fair and to rebook where we can.

Weather and safety changes

Mountain conditions can require changes to any itinerary. If we adjust a route or turn a group around for safety reasons, we do so in the interest of your wellbeing. Costs arising from weather, road closures or flight delays outside our control are not included.

Insurance

Travel and medical insurance with adequate altitude cover, and helicopter rescue cover for expeditions, is mandatory on all our trips. Please have your policy in place before departure.
