Laila Peak (6,096 m) is one of the most photogenic mountains on Earth, a slender spearhead above the Hushe valley. It is a technical objective for skilled alpinists.
Few mountains are as instantly recognisable as Laila Peak. Its impossibly steep, tapering face has made it a bucket-list climb and ski-mountaineering line.
This is a technical expedition for experienced climbers. We provide the Hushe approach, base camp and logistics for your attempt.
Day 1 to 3
Transfer to Skardu, then Hushe, and trek toward base camp.
Day 4 to 16
Establish camps and work the technical face in good conditions.
Day 17 to 19
Summit attempt on a stable window.
Day 20+
Descend, trek out and return to Islamabad.
Hotels on the road and a supported base camp.
Trek and base camp meals with a cook.

This is the advanced version of the K2 trek. Instead of retracing the Baltoro, you cross the Gondogoro La (5,585 m) for a sunrise panorama of K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums, then descend into the Hushe valley.
